Here at Cut it Forward HQs we firmly believe that this work must start with those who have the lived experiences of growing up in foster & adoptive care, and who have faced ethnic hair and skin care barriers directly. This is why we have developed a committee of foster and adoptive alumni to ensure that everything we do is centered and purposeful in addressing the need of ethnic hair and skin care resources for the families we serve. In this video the committee shares the importance of adequate hair and skin care resources for youth of color from their personal perspectives.
